Why us

We actually play

Every review comes from hours of hands-on time, not a trailer. If we haven't finished a chunk of the game, we don't write about it.

Battery and heat notes

We track how games treat your phone over a real session, not just how pretty the first menu looks.

No paid placements

Nobody buys a spot in our catalog. Our ratings are ours, for better or worse.

Emberfall Saga
RPG

Emberfall Saga

★★★★★ 4.6

Emberfall Saga is the rare mobile RPG that respects your time without gutting the depth. Combat is turn-based, so nothing punishes you for pausing mid-fight, and the skill trees are laid out clearly enough that I actually understood my builds instead of guessing.

  • Genuinely good companion writing
  • Turn-based combat that fits mobile perfectly
  • Clear, satisfying character progression

Questions & answers

How do you choose which games to review?

We pick things we're genuinely curious about across as many genres as we can, from RPGs to little arcade games. There's no schedule dictated by studios, we just play what catches our attention and covers a good spread. If something bores us within an hour, it usually doesn't make the cut.

Do you get paid to review games?

No. Nobody pays for a review or a rating on BlitzKit, and no developer gets to see or change what we write before it goes up. Our opinions are ours, which sometimes means we're less kind than a studio would like.

Can I suggest a game for you to cover?

Absolutely, that's one of our favorite emails to get. Just send us the name and a line about why you like it, and if it fits what we do we'll add it to the list. For example, Big Rush Cast came onto our radar through a reader tip and ended up being one of our favorites.

Is there advertising on the site?

We keep things light. There may be some basic ads to help cover hosting, but they never influence our reviews or where a game sits in the catalog. Editorial and ads stay completely separate.
